CBC: Student Ministry

A note of E.J.

Hello, my name is E.J., and I am the Minister of Students at Calvary
Church. I am excited about what God is doing in our BLITZ 28:19 youth
ministry and would like to share some of that with you.

One of the exciting events we participate in each year is summer
camp. This is an amazing wee of worship, spiritual growth, and
relationship building, all while having lots of fun.
Each winter, we go on a ski trip, where we race down the slopes
on skis and tubes.
Whitewater rafting is another annual event that always proves to
be thrilling. Students and adults alike are pushed beyond their
limits to experience hours of both fun and fear.
We also enjoy concerts of our favorite Christian artists both at
area coliseums and Carowinds. Of course, while at Carowinds,
we make sure to enjoy a roller coaster or two.
S.N.A.C. is another favorite of our group. During S.N.A.C.,
Sunday Nite After Church, we all meet after service at a local
restaurant for fun, food, and fellowship. Additionally, our your
group enjoys giving of our time and talents through mission trips
and projects, both domestically and internationally.

This is only a few of the activities our youth at Calvary enjoy. I look
forward to speaking to your personally about what is coming up within
our group.

Our BLITZ 28:19 Youth Ministry has three purposes. The first is that
students know and server Jesus Christ wholeheartedly and in a very
real, personal, and growing way. Secondly, that the name of Jesus
Christ will be proclaimed by our students through their voices and their
actions. Thirdly, that students know and put into practice the
development of meaningful relationships with students at church,
school, and around the world.
